From brokers and funders
"Setup was incredibly fast and simple. Integrated with our Salesforce workflow in minutes. No complicated training needed."
"Watermarking our ISOs subs cut concerns of internal theft, built trust, and drove a surge in ISO sign-ups."
"Our conversion rates improved significantly. Less deal theft means more closed deals. Simple math."
"Aquamark is helping keep our industry honest. Spread the word. Everyone should be watermarking."
I spent 15 years in the MCA space, running operations for two large shops — at one point managing over 100 employees. I watched backdooring evolve from isolated incidents into an industry of its own.
I built Aquamark to do my part in restoring integrity to the space. The work is simple, but it matters — helping brokers and funders protect their deals and rebuild trust. My hope is that by making it harder for bad actors to take advantage, we make it easier for the rest of us to do business the right way.

Everything you need to know
Brokers > watermarking all submissions to funders.
Funders > watermarking submissions they send to other funders AND/OR mark ISO submissions BEFORE they enter CRMs — a visible way to show ISOs their deals are protected, with no unmarked files circulating inside their team.
Every submission gets plastered with your logo. If another broker tries to reuse your files, the watermark makes it obvious who originated them. Funders can see the mismatch and will often reach out to you directly, exposing the leak. This makes backdooring far riskier for bad actors.
Internal: As ISO submissions come in, we add your watermark before the files enter your CRM — so nothing circulates internally unmarked. This gives ISOs confidence their deals are protected and less likely to be stolen.
External: When you send deals to other funders, watermark with your branding, just like ISOs do!
No solution can stop 100% of theft — and we won't pretend otherwise. We make stealing far more work and far more risky. Our watermarks adds visible friction, exposes bad actors when they try, and drastically reduce overall backdooring. You won't catch everyone, but you will deter most.
Yes. Your documents never get written to a disk or stored in our database. If you use the portal, everything is handled in your browser or in our API's temporary working space. We can provide logs upon request.
No problem. You can log in and upload files directly through our secure web portal. It works instantly and doesn't require any technical setup.
Yes. Check out our API page for how you can integrate.
Tracking is optional and doesn't cost more to use. Instead of just sending back the watermarked PDF, you can choose to generate a secure link. Recipients must enter a business email to access the file, and we show you who opened it, when, and from where. We also block suspicious emails, lock out repeated failed attempts, and flag unusual activity.
AI tools won't remove them because it violates policy. While it's technically possible for a human, 99% of people aren't paying for premium PDF software or have the specialized knowledge to do it. Even with paid tools, they'd have to remove them one by one — with 12–15 embedded per page, it's a real pain and far more effort than it's worth, especially at scale.
